How can people hope to demonstrate the quality of tone when the recording itself is really very average. It does not show off the guitar well at all.

Observation : if you do a vibrato on a note with the left hand, off course you have more sustain!!!

Fact: Guitars do not use bells or whistles to produce sound but instead use vibrations from from the strings.

just bought this guitar today i got the black for only 500 so far i absolutely love this guitar the rockfield humbuckers are surprisingly good i play alot of heavy metal/core music its got a great heavy sound i reccomend to any rock/metal guitarist

@monsterr101 I have both a micheal kelly vex nv and a bc rich assassin fx6 (as well as an assassin px3t). I must say out of them all I would rank sound/playability as px3t then vex nv then fx6. Fx6 is good but sometimes the inlays are a distraction when playing. All great guitars tho. Love the rockfields!

Get the hex deluxe, it has active rockfield pickups and an original floyd rose.

wait so set thru is better than neck thru? but neck thru is supposedly better than set neck, and set neck is highter quality than bolt on, but neck thru and set thu are the same sort of thing right? just wondering because my dad builds guitars and his guitars are neck thru
