Hey there. Because of your problem and other ones I chose to have 2 OS's. Win XP just for gaming and in other partition I have win 7. When I start my pc I chose whether I want to boot XP or Windows 7. Nowadays game are all win7/Vista compatible. Still I install them on XP because it requires less memory - XP i.e.
