"The only problem with Socialism is we eventually run out of other people's money." M.T.

That is ridiculous Bro, The Kennedy Trust is offshore, George Soros Money is offshore. People will stop working as much when they don't reap the fruit of their labor. Fair is equal, why isn't sales tax progressive. Taxing poor people's food is a crime. You are back to the Communist Manifesto. again.

@Floormat11 The baby that earns more in the future shall pay more for the benefits of living in his country because of his higher "ability to pay." The one that earns less AT THAT MOMENT IN TIME (not forsaking the possiblity of climbing up the ladder someday) shall pay less because of his lower "ability-to-pay." Fair is fair. Everyone has to pay but a thousand dollars is peanuts to a millionare compared to what a thousand dollars is to a low income worker.

Brother, the homes that lost the most equity were Million Dollar Homes, the top lost the most. The American taxpayer funded the IMF, we sent stimulus money to New Zealand. The Fiat System is world wide, the only Countries not in the IMF are Cuba, Somalia, Libya, North Korea and Iran, Iraq wasn't in the IMF until the invasion. Where do you think the next War will be?

@Floormat11 I don't know what you're saying. When our recession started it caused a ripple effect around the world. There have been bailouts, stimulus packages, public works programs, etc. going on around the world. Especially in China 'cuz they were the first ones to feel it. They've done multiple stimulus packages and have been doing massive overhauls to their infrastructure just to put people to work again. We F*****d up bad this time.

The govt gave the banks China's money in order for the banks to give you your money. The banks should pay China back with interest so you and I won't have to. If not, they'll take money from those who make over 250k (who probably took your money anyway if you lost any equity in your home or any of your investments) in order to pay China for the banks to be able to keep it in your account. It was something like $3.5 trill of equity that went up in smoke when the bubble burst. Who got it? The top.

Some Historians claim the British Living Constitution caused the American Revolution. The Monarch ceded power to Parliament, but the Monarch could change the law anytime it wanted to.
We do not have a living Constitution, we have a delegated Constitution. Any power not given to the federal government is reserved to the States. We can AMEND the Constitution for future growth, the founders thought about this problem and people like you, Bro.

I agree that the Const is at the core of the argument as well. My position is that the Const is a living document. Just like women weren't allowed to vote until recently many of our ideals have changed with the times. Our laws must be able to adjust as well. I think the forefathers knew this. Our society is much more complex and we demand more from our govt now than we did back in 1787. Do you think they would've imagined the Fed govt funding NASA in order to extend manifest destiny into space?

There is an old saying I heard in the fifties.
If we stripped everybody down naked and started over the same people would have the money.
I have the ability to make as much money as I want to. I have a High School Education, I was born with this ability as a young child, I kept my money, I saved, I invested. I worked for people, while my friends were playing. I have had money in the bank since I was 10 years old, I still have that money and I am 59 years old.

To the group:

Imagine standing in a maternity ward looking at two babies lying in their plexiglass cribs. BOTH of them are have the SAME rights of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. BOTH of them have the SAME opportunity for prosperity.

Which one of these children SHALL be treated differently than the other? Which one shall be GRANTED advantage over the other? Which one SHALL labor for the other?

Why do some believe THEY have the authority to make such a determination?!
