@Monkberry50 The debt wouldn't be so high if Congress would pass bills that are meant to be PAID for. Obama is the first President in a while to insist that such a bill as the healthcare bill be paid for in full without adding a cent to the national debt.
And apologizing to Muslims? You don't see the need? When The Honorable George W Bush gives a press conference in the middle east and has two shoes thrown at him by a Muslim reporter, I think that indicates some tension between Muslims and US
I'm one of the independents that Obama is gonna lose by going too far left...voted for Reagan, Clinton and Bush... but Obama >> triple the debt in ONE YEAR ? apologize to muslims ? Gov't run health care ? he's a one termer... the GOP better have someone ready ... we need Reagan back !
Funbob actually has a few good points. He says we should "start" no war unless we intend to win it. But after Iraq I think we should have enough experience with "starting" wars in order to begin winning them.
hoodoo961, I think you are living in Fairydustland. The "teabagger movement" ,as you call it, know all to well what they are concerned about. And what economy are you talking about?? If you haven't noticed, we don't seem to have one at the moment.
Real mature. Actually, I work for the Federal Reserve (jk). My point is just that most of the things he talks about have little to do with fact and less to do with the economy. Its symptomatic of the teabagger movement, they are mad but they don't really know at what or about what.
Why don't we force all of our politicians to wear NASCAR-style jump-suits that show who is "sponsoring" them.
I'd love to the names of corporate military contractors on the jumpsuit of some Democrat who's saying he's anti-war. I'd love to see the names of financial institutions on the jumpsuit of some Republican who pretends to be the enemy of the banks who got bailouts.
