Once they are citizens, add another 30 MILLION illegal immigrants to healthcare, welfare, education... this wike massively hike taxes.

The Electoral College was part of the marriage vows between the States. Break the vows, break the union.

The unemployment rate averaged GREATER than 12% during all of Franklin D. Roosevelt's first EIGHT years in office. This in spite of the New Deal's never before seen massive spending and taxing. During this decade (1930-1940) U.S. industrial production and income fell by almost 1/3!!!
10% unemployment will stay steady because of Obama's failed New Deal type spending. It's amateur hour in the White House and the economy, businesses, and people are paying the price.

@BMF cont': Therefore, we have this Constitutional document that was debated and signed by far greater men than you and I. And whether we, in 2010 or 2110, debate economics, environment, education, health care, national security, etc., we will always come full circle and arrive at this Constitution with only ONE question to ask ourselves:

"Has the govt's role/actions FAILED in its obligation to PRESERVE individual freedom and liberty for its citizens?"

@BMF cont': The majority of Americans are a patient and resilient people. We often tolerate the govt's over-reach into our personal liberties for many reasons. But as soon as the gov't determines for itself that its actions will supersede individual and private freedom, then the govt has FAILED in its obligation to its citizenry.

We can debate the issues on a moral and/or ethical basis and never come to an agreement. Fortunately, we dont have to...it was already DONE on September 17, 1787.
