My head is about to explode. Obama and the rest of the powers-that-be have another 4 years to continue the job of driving the U.S. over the inevitable fiscal cliff.
And btw.....paying taxes for the common good is not offensive to me at all. Subsidizing people who won't take responsibility for their own lives is highly offensive.

>The Bush tax cuts created a boom in funds
You've got to be kidding. Over Bush's 8 years, revenue increased only about 300 million, which did not match up to inflation, and paled in comparison to the rate of growth in revenue in almost every presidency in the 20th century.
I think you're buying a lot of revisionist right-wing history here.

Here is the problem, Mr. Obama: history has proven over and over again that those who tax the rich more get less revenue. It happened over and over again in our history as a nation, and every time the taxes on the rich went up, the revenue went down. The Bush tax cuts created a boom in funds, and so did Clinton's re-election tax cuts. This seems to be because the rich put their money in tax reserves. We get most of our revenue from the rich. Implementing the Buffet Rule will bankrupt this nation
