@ClothDiaperChannel When you use the boiling method to prep diapering stuff, do you need to use a prepping-only pot...like, will it ruin my pot for actual cooking use?

@aaahashleyyy I use the flip stay dry inserts (love them!) and you'll notice that they have two different sides - a bumpy microfiber side and a smooth stay dry suede side. The suede can go right up against baby, but the bumpy microfiber side NEEDS to be kept away from the baby's skin. The Flip tag says 'this side down' in super tiny writing if you have a hard time figuring out which side is which. Hope that helps!! ~Carla

I use the Flip stay dry inserts directly against my little ones skin as directed by cotton babies, but if its made of microfiber, why would the recommend that?

Hey, did I miss the brand of the Hemp doublers?? Did you mention it?

it's funny that these are the 2 main fabrics you guys use. In Australia the main absorbent fabric used is bamboo (cotton, fleece, terry etc) and some microfibre. We also have hemp but you see way more bamboo.
Are you guys going to review Itti Bitti's? They're a popular Aussie nappy that uses bamboo just released in the US
I don`t know why but I have had nothing but issues with hemp I do not know why maybe im not using them right or something. So I stick to my mirco fiber they work good for me

@MarieOgden Did you prep them properly before using them? They take MANY hot washes to become completely absorbent. We boil ours for about 15-20 minutes to prep them. It is much faster than washing them.
