Is it just me, or does the male leader at the end of the video look like Jean-Claude Van Damme?

@cartmann1 Agree with you there. Have you tried Mount and Blade? It's published by Paradox and the games have the same qualities of what you said.

Paradox games are amazing, the amount of depth and replayability, coupled with many ways to play the game (Militaristically, economically and diplomatically) make these games so worth learning.
-
Somehow they managed to tell a story in what usually is a chaotic mix in other similar games (compare Rise of Nations or Empire Earth).

I love that too. The view of the future in both CTP 1 and 2 are cool, flying cars and metallic buildings. It really makes you wonder if that's what could be our society in the near or distant future. :s
I played the original Civilization Call to Power. It's an amazing game. I love how you are actually able develop your country into a futuristic society, instead of the "Future Tech" that you're handed in the Sid Meier series.

The mechanics of this game were superior to the normal Civ series - like the use of public works. absolutely loved it as a kid. though i'm hooked in Paradox games now ;D
