Call to Power II (CTP2) is a PC turn-based strategy game released by Activision as a sequel to Civilization: Call to Power, which was, in turn, a game similar to the Civilization computer game by Sid Meier. The game could not have "Civilization" in its title because the word is trademarked by the makers of the original Civilization series.[1] In October 2003, Activision released the source code, enabling the Apolyton gaming community to debug, improve, and add new features.

  • I played the original Civilization Call to Power. It's an amazing game. I love how you are actually able develop your country into a futuristic society, instead of the "Future Tech" that you're handed in the Sid Meier series.

  • The mechanics of this game were superior to the normal Civ series - like the use of public works. absolutely loved it as a kid. though i'm hooked in Paradox games now ;D

  • Is it just me, or does the male leader at the end of the video look like Jean-Claude Van Damme?

  • @cartmann1 Agree with you there. Have you tried Mount and Blade? It's published by Paradox and the games have the same qualities of what you said.

  • @TheArabassist

Paradox games are amazing, the amount of depth and replayability, coupled with many ways to play the game (Militaristically, economically and diplomatically) make these games so worth learning.

  • Somehow they managed to tell a story in what usually is a chaotic mix in other similar games (compare Rise of Nations or Empire Earth).

  • beautiful T-T

  • Call to Power 1&2 was great Games. Explore and Expand the Land the Oceanalso underwater and the Space. Then the Wonders and the Tech from Archers to Robots Under Water Empires and Space Battles. Great really really great. I want a Call to Power 3 :) I think the Time has come for a Call to Power 3.

  • Call to Power really loved Hitler eh? ;P

  • I miss this game... (Tear)

  • I love that too. The view of the future in both CTP 1 and 2 are cool, flying cars and metallic buildings. It really makes you wonder if that's what could be our society in the near or distant future. :s
