Ford macht den 1. FC Köln mobil (german language)

Schnelle Aktionen zeigen sie auf dem Fußballrasen, und flott sind sie mit Ford-Fahrzeugen unterwegs: die Fußballer des 1. FC Köln freuen sich in der Bundesligasaison 2009/2010 über zwei brandneue Ford Kuga, die Bernhard Mattes, Vorsitzender der Geschäftsführung der Ford-Werke GmbH, kürzlich am Vereinssitz, dem Geißbockheim, übergab.

Stellvertretend für die Erstliga-Mannschaft und das Management des 1. FC Köln nahmen „Heimkehrer Lukas Podolski und die Neuzugänge Sebastian Freis, Maniche und Christopher Schorch die Fahrzeugschlüssel und Papiere für ihre neuen Ford-Dienstwagen entgegen.

Ford kündigte beim Termin mit den FC-Kickern außerdem an, als Fahrzeugausrüster den Verein auch in der Bundesligasaison 2009/2010 mit einer Ford-Flotte zu unterstützen. Insgesamt stellt das Unternehmen dem Verein 32 Fahrzeuge zur Verfügung: Ford Kuga, Ford Mondeo, Ford S-MAX und Ford Galaxy.

The players of Colognes leading football club 1. FC Köln play a fast game on the field and enjoy a dynamic ride on the streets. For the 2009/2010 season, Bernhard Mattes, chairman Ford of Germany, recently handed over two brand-new Ford Kugas at the clubs headquarters in Cologne.

Representing the squad and management were new team signings Lukas Podolski, Maniche, Sebastian Freis and Christopher Schorch who received the keys to their new vehicles.

At the meeting, Ford also announced that it will continue to act as official vehicle sponsor during the 2009/2010 Bundesliga season. The company will supply a fleet of 32 vehicles Kugas, Mondeos, S-MAXs and Galaxys which will be used by the players and club management.
