This is Part II of a 4-part series "Quotes and Graphite Drawings" by visual artist Eugene James Martin. The drawings date from 1977 and 1978; the quotes from the mid-1970's. Many of the quotes and all of the original drawings that accompanied the quotes Eugene Martin organized in a special volume were accidentally lost in Washington D.C. in the early 1980's when someone borrowed the chapbook and misplaced it. Works of art created in Washington D.C., filmed in Lafayette, Louisiana (LA). Video clip montage by S. Fredericq. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eugene_J._Martin

To any any critic or art historian who has seen Eugene Martin's work but failed to take notice, I ask you: from what deficit do you suffer that you did not immediately recognize this man as a genius?

I like very much the last quote, I think it's very true. Actually many of the quotes, even when they have some humour to them are very true.
Thanks for sharing!
