  • They were stoned off their asses here.

  • yes it is hunter s thompson and this peice is from a bigger interview on yt nice to hear a bit of truth about the beatles & stones thing as well

  • Jagger never said it started with the Stones. And all the stones know the Beatles started the brit invasion. 4rainbowed you shouldn't make stuff up, the ignorant will believe you.

  • Maybe Jagger was wasted, if he said it all started with the Stones, 'cause I thought he said the reason they were able to reach out to the world was because the Beatles opened the door for them in the first place !?!

  • let it be was rubbish.

    let it bleed was ammmmazing

  • Great to hear Keith sing. His voice is nearly gone, now. Nice to hear Keith give credit to John Lennon. When John was alive, although they were friends, it galled him when Jagger would say it all started with the Stones. There's a vid on YT here where John says, "'Let It Bleed', yeah, really original." That, I know pissed him off especially b/c of the reason for writing "Let It Be".

  • THANK YOU for POSTING this. Nice to hear Keith sing again, and know some of what he's referring to in the song. I wish the Stones could do one of those Vh1 "Storytellers" programs to tell stories about how some of their songs came to be.

  • a musician has silence ... [to frame his work]
