Drupal blocks kind of make up your application. It's where you position different sections of your sites anywhere you want on your layout, you can even limit what appears on which page. Once you understand how this works you'll really appreciate Drupal! I did this in Drupal 7.

i like RVSitebuilder because it's so easy however drupal has forums and all kinds of really neat themes but it's kind of hard to understand it because they use weird terms like nodes, and book, and child.
