  • Good grief! I grow the white callas ;)

  • I forgot to mention that I live in Michigan. Thanks again.

  • Hi - could someone comment on any needed "resting" period for the calla lily? I normally have mine in the house over the winter since they're beautiful houseplants, but they no longer bloom. I am thinking that I need to give them a resting period which I have seen little information about. Is 8 weeks long enough for resting of the se plants. Thanks!

  • i start loving these flower cause it remind me of my mom

  • @ufoureeah: You should prune your plant regularly. Check for any diseases and pests that might be hurting your plant. Give it some fertilizer, water, and some tender love. I talk to my plants everyday. They seem to enjoy that. If that doesn't help, you visit a professional at the plant nursery center. They know everything about plants!

  • @cloes1986: You should plant the white calla lilly as soon as possible. They bloom only in May and June. The blooms only last from 1 -2 months. Just in time for your summer wedding in July. Otherwise, you should pick a different flower. For me, I use white and yellow plumeria/fragipanis flowers from the tropics. It's soo fragrant.

  • Hi, I want to save money by planting my own flowers to use for my wedding decorations. I will be having my wedding July 31st and want to use the white and pink calla Lily. I live in North Carolina and I was wondering if you would please tell me when is the best time to plant them and how many flowers would I get from one bulb. Thanks so much in advance, Claudia

  • Thank you for the video. I have the pink called Zantedeschia rehmannii. I am wondering why one of my plants bloomed once then the flower drooped & died. The rest of the plant looks green & healthy. I have not seen any blooms on this plant since the first bloom wilted. They are in my outside garden North facing and get 7 hours of full sun. The rest of my Zantedeschia's are blooming nice for the first time and they are in the same soil next to the one that drooped. Any extra tips for more blooms?
