@freefalable The Islamists supported the Shah in 1953. 1953 didnt have a thing to do with 1979 because the Islamists all wanted Mossadegh dead and after the Islamic revolution they killed everyone in Mossadeghs party. The Islamists supported the Shah until 1963 when the Shah gave women the right to vote. That is when the Islamists first attempted to overthrow the Shah. If the Shah never gave women the right to vote the Islamic revolution would never have taken place in 1979.

@RMMHS4RP Khomeini supported the Shah in 1953. Ayatollah Kashani turned on Mossadegh in 1953 and said he needed to be executed. When the 1979 Revolution happened, Khomeini declared everyone in Mossadeghs National Front party to be apostates and ordered them all to be executed.

It is a complete lie for anyone to say the 1979 Iran revolution happened because of previous American intervention.

For a second there, I was confused as to whether Sarah Palin actually had some intelligence or not, but as she kept talking, her talk of Israel, then putting Paul and Gingrich on the same level... yeah, same old Sarah.
