I don't know how good this program is but their support sucks royal. I downloaded it in my Droid x and just wanted to look at it so I filled out my tele , email and a friends number which I got wrong and no pin. When I shut the phone off then on it locked me out. I have no pin, my friends number doesn't work and when I log on to their site it doesn't recognize me. For 3 days I have emailed support and called them with no answer and I have useless Droid x I can't use. They are the lowest.

@HaloMediaz you were supposed to sync it to the site/server with the "track my phone" before hand then it would run some sort of "test"...and hopefully you bought the full version. not the trial.

@chewbster
Not everyone chooses to auto-sync their Gmail contacts. In the event of phone loss, WaveSecure lets you grab a latest copy of your contacts, SMS and even call logs remotely.
WaveSecure for Android is free till 31 March 2010 so do get it when it is free.
You can pinpoint the thief's location even if he doesn't have a data plan by sending a locate command using SMS.
When a new SIM is inserted, WaveSecure will notify your buddies and also email you in the background.
Thanks!

why would you back up your contacts? they are saved automatically to the Gmail contacts list and they are instaSynced.
Backing up SMS makes a little bit more sense though - a little
what features are free and which ones would you have to pay for? Can you pinpoint the thief's location if he doesn't have a Data connection? Dp you receive notifications to your "buddy" number via SMS or can that be changed to e-mail?
If the phone is stolen does WaveSecure run in the background?
