My dad has been building this 1932 Essex-Terraplane 5 window coupe since 1992 ! The engine is a 10:1 400 SBC, with AFR 195cc aluminum heads with 2.02/1.6 valves, Lunati 292 cam, and 3 dueces. He blocked off the front and rear carbs to get the cam broke in, and to put some run time on it and get some heat in the motor. The first time is was fired and ran since he began this build was last week. I got this short video of the engine running for a couple minutes yesterday. There's still some work to do to the car before it driving, but it's getting close !

  • Nice looking engine......gonna be an awesome hot rod.

  • @RamblinAround Thanks ! Dad is going to change the intake manifold and put a different Offy intake with the big base carbs. He's got some maple wood to make some carb spacers out of. Should be pretty cool as well !
