  • Workers of all lands unite.Socialism has not failed its never been tried comrades.

  • where did you get those figures from? the labour website?

  • If anything Labour was becoming more like the Conservative party, sheding the traditional right wing stand they had for more of a left wing one.

It probably wouldn't even matter which of them got voted in these days.

  • There was no need to vote Brown as PM. In the UK we put a PARTY in charge, we do not vote for one person like they do in the USA. The leader of the party is the PM and so if one PM resigns it is upto the party to elect their new leader who will become the PM.

  • lol and how do u deal with international problems?

UN? great record they have..im a luke warm labour supporter but...try sitting in there places...send un peacekeeper in? bosnia, rwanda ring a bell?

  • New Labour = Communists

  • Not sure what makes you say that. At the time the Labour Party were 10 points ahead of the Conservatives and the Libs were on 11%.

Labour would have won it, few people question that, the issue is whether or not there needed to be an election. IMO, there was no need.

  • £1 is pretty cheap considering you get to be a member of a political party, which I think is a pretty cool thing. Not saying it has to be Labour, though.
