This episode of A Place of Our Own provides an overview of what auditory processing disorder is and the treatments that are available. Katherine Bowman, the founder and director of Anaheim Hills Speech and Language Center, is featured and shares her knowledge on the subject.
@cqgmickey I would assume so since the processing problems are not visual, although I never learned an established sign language. I have APD and made up my own sign language, although it was simple one. I even still use a lot of hand motions when I talk especially when I try to describe something lol

@asldeaffriend I did not understand your comment, did you say you use sign language? Does that really help?
