This is my Tohru Honda Cosplay. It was made a year ago... In less than one week with no sewing machine... Only my hands. Seriously, bad quality, but I love it so much ! Tohru Honda is one of my favorite character ever and I will make this cosplay again, with much time and a sewing machine this time !

I have no wig, this is my true hair.. :)

  • @MugOfCoCoaa Thanks a loot ^^

  • @TheFurubaFangirl Aww, thanks a lot <3

  • No sewing machine? Are you serious? Wow! I couldn't do that good WITH a sewing machine! I am a true Furuba fan and I believe this outfit is perfect. Great job!

  • @DanielleBabees Hi ! First, thanks a lot ( and I am Chatou xD ) ! And second, sorry for my english I speak french, so I will do errors :) So ! The thing you need is plenty of time, and patience ! For the shirt, I bought a pattern of a normal long sleeves shirt that I have make, and modify. For the skirt and the sailorcollar, look here on youtube ! Elpheal has made a lot of great tutorial to learn to do a sailor uniform and a pleat skirt. ^^ Nothing is impossible, you can do it :D

  • @DanielleBabees I've used small satin ribbon :)

  • Oh! And what did you use for the stripes? :o

  • I can't believe you did this by yourself!

You did such a good job! You look lovely! And your hair! It's sooo pretty and looooong!

I don't have a sewing machine, or much costume making experience :L How did you figure out how to make this!? D:

    Please reply :3 <3

I'm Chatou 79 ^^' Thanks a lot =D I didn't use a pattern for it only a long sleeve shirt pattern that we had modified. It's almost impossible to find the perfect pattern in cosplay. But if you check it on youtube, someone had made a great tutorial on how make a japanese uniform for cosplay and it's very interesting ^^

  • Love it! Where did you find a pattern for the shirt?! I've been looking for it everywhere! <3 Love it!
