ROFL! you cannot crack a big software so easily or everyone could do it. you need to get alot of tutorials and spend like a year on just learning reverse engineering and even then you might not be able to crack avast, as it is a very big program. the error you mentioned is probably because its unpacked

this is the easy way to crack a software...and usually , crackme's ar very easy to crack..there are some crackme's that are harder to crack...but..if u want to crack a program try a real one...u'll see that's not so easy. and this video just showed you what is called "serial fishing" . there are not actuall patches or register changes in this video.

@loudsl01401 - yes you are right.. I'd made these videos long back when I was learning reverse engineering (which I later left abruptly). These videos just give a starting point to people who are struggling to understand what cracking even means. I'm sure that there will be some advanced courses on using pro cracking tools, interested people should try that. And as miketh2005 has mentioned, dont expect a 59sec video to teach anyone how to crack Photoshop...
