After a friend who drives for a living recommended this product, I went looking ,only to find it was some infomercial thing, but after using it for over 4 months, I am very impressed, and will continue to use it on the scout and family cars.

  • I'll check it out, the RainX I just put on doesn't seem to be working. Actually jiffy lube put it on, or did they? We've only had about two rains in the past 5 months so I don't think it was washed off.

  • that rain just beads up really nice on ur flat windshield! the water does stay on it but i can see very clear! good review and even better application with ur window being the way it is. great job!

  • I tried Rain X once and when I used the wipers it streaked. =\

  • Wouldn't have much use for that up here - LOL! Gotta try it, thanks!

  • i bought a gallon of prestone deicer spray andd it rainproofed my windshield

  • Wow! Look like it works well. I'll have to try and get some of that.

  • beast, Excellent, thank you sir !!!

  • I like the automotive vids! Most likely in a bugout scenario, we will be using our cars. I drove a tow tuck for two years and found that most people have no way to help themselves, no blankets, no candles, only a super bmw that never breaks down (LOL) and cellphone. In a bugout situation, calling CAA or AAA will be out of the question. Carry ropes and ratchet hoists. AND LEARN HOW TO CHANGE YOUR OWN FLAT TIRE, GIRLS DIG IT!

  • Just put rain-x on last week and noticed also that it already needs to be reapplied after the rains lately. Might have to look into this.
