@null303 I didn't mean to imply that they have no muscle. I'm just wondering if the fat is advantageous in some way. If I could trade fat for equally weighted muscle, it seems like a net gain. The only benefit I can see to having the fat is that it might cushion some blows, which may indeed be important. This guy on the screen with the yellow hair right now is more of what I'd expect.
@whizbangify Interesting. I would think that all other things being equal, being really lean and more muscular would be an advantage (assuming you could maintain flexibility). Like, wouldn't Mitrione have been even more viscious if he replaced the fat with more muscle?
