during a rocket workshop for the ATC, a few of the rockets landed on the roof, so I sent my quadcopter upto try and blow them down with the downdraft from the blades.

the fist came down quite easily but the other took another few tries.

  • You need a hook and a down-looking cam.

  • @TheMrBlinx. the Quad is now fitted with a tiltable camera and has had a short line and hook fitted for a bit of fun for a while.

  • @hartrockets Hey, I got an idea: You know those tiny magnets that can lift a pickup truck? Attach one to the rocket somewhere and another to a line and you're sure to snag it. You think that can be done? I have some of those magnets here and I know how hard it is to get them off things.
