More historically accurate than Spartacus series on STARZ, but a whole lot less entertaining. Despite the honest attempt to be true to history, it's just so cheezy, and quite frankly the acting is pretty bad. Compared to the STARZ version, it suffers dearly. I would suggest the "Rome" 2 season series from HBO. IMO, possibly the best mini-series ever done (neck & neck with "Lonesome Dove")

So I'm guessing Spartacus Blood and Sand season 2 is when they fight Rome :)
Too bad though they ALL die at the end.. :(

This film is onehundred times better than 300 and do you know why? All soldiers and battles are real performed unlike to the 300´s soldiers who are maked by the computer. Thats why i like Spartacus more. Moreover it has a real background story, emotions and a hidden intention. Ehhhm... have i said its my favourite movie?
