Paul knows what makes a game really fun. I couldn't believe when Blizzard, in WoW, installed anti-kiting measures thus preventing people from bringing dragons and demons to wreak havoc on cities. I mean it was a minority that got pissed off by such things, if you watch any video with a large mob kited to a city, you'll find most people are having a blast watching or attacking it.

@Grimfandango13 But the problem is that the $15 a month everyone was paying never went anywhere, so that when people were finally getting to the endgame content and none of the game problems (that I'm not even going to go into) ever got fixed. They essentially made a base for a good game and then walked away. Threw innovation to the wind and expected the money to keep flowing

I actually logged back into WAR a few months ago, and all of bugs and lag are still there as they were right when I left

@Grimfandango13 Come on now. It's obvious that Warhammer Online failed because they didn't listen enough to the guys like Paul, and were way too focused on doing god knows what to actually make the game unique and original.

I mean I did play Warhammer Online like everyone else, but I was one of the guys who went off exploring places just for the sake of it, and you know what? I happened upon at least 3 well hidden monster lairs that made me feel special and warm inside for finding them.

LOL I had to look up what I wrote cuz it's been a while.. After reading my own comment, I LOL @ myself for a good 5 minutes before responding.. Honestly, the man talked a good talk but the game was horrible.. There was no PVE whatsoever, and the PQ'S combined with scen's was just a fast themepark ride with none of the real mmorpg elements I enjoy in MMO's.. I played WAR for about two weeks before canceling my subscription. Now i'm playing Rift and enjoying myself..

Paul is an amazing dude. People are right, he can sell you anything.

Hopefully now that he's working with Bioware that they'll use his talents and we'll see him again with swtor.

@breastinspector2 and on top of that, even if you try to take it outside of an RvR lake, any COMMON ENEMY VILLAGE GUARD has about 10,000 health and can 1-shot you! I played WAR to get away from World of Warcraft's shitty PvP and City NPC system where guards would come out of thin air in a steady stream, but I couldn't believe WAR had outdone WoW!

@Tormentofprophecy probably not ANY tomb because they didn't impliment most any of the "revolutionary" ideas Jeff and Paul had come up with for this game, and as a matter of fact, virtually every single thing in the game is completely standard and non-gripping with few exceptions. The Keeps are clubhouses, the city seiges are just a scenario and a public quest happening at the same place, the farthest the "war" in WAR goes are tiny little playpens called RvR "lakes".
