We should take this cause to the street. In Montreal, I am suggesting an event in downtown in September. Unless we can reach the street, we can not really push much.

Good job, Ginger! Thanks for leading the way in Canada.

Vascular surgeons will not go public if they support CCSVI liberation. This is going to be a turf war between veins and brains (neurologists vs vasc surgeons). I am assuming that turf war is happening behind the scenes. The internet is a powerful tool. Keep talking to any doctor who will listen. It will make a difference.
Above all, lobby the politicians, provincial and federal. An angry groundswell representing a large block of voters will make them take notice.

I tried to post, I was under the character limit, but keep getting an error message, so posted to the CCSVI page in TO.

Ginger, u are so right on. Thank you for leading the way.

Thanks Ginger - it is all about getting through the backdoors right now! You are right, Neuros and also MS Research here in Australia are telling us not to have this treatment. Vascular specialists are looking at our stenosed veins and saying "we can treat this." Well done on seeking out these vascular professionals. A well balanced video - Go Canada! Kerri

Good advice Ginger. Have you tried the specialized radiologists as well? They are who do the dopplar testing. There may be more of them and we need the testing first I belive.
Here in the states I think if you had money or insurance I think you could find a doctor to do it.
It's all about money here and those of us who don't have it, won't have access to even the testing.
Keep up the good work!
Hugs,
Andrea

Way to Go Ginger. Yes I will do my part. Thank you for what you have to say.
Need open letter to leaders (include Mrs. Obama. They are trying to reform health care in the US. So we tell Obama, Stephen Harper, etc. (cc lots of Insurance companies) if they don't do something soon, a lot of Canadians will go out of country. Plus the fact there is a lot of money and human capital to be gained. There are a LOT of people on ABCs, rebif, tysabri, experimental drugs, placebos, who could go back to work.

Thanks Chris-Good point on the insurance companies. I havent gone that route yet. :) I have sent Pres. Obama but not Michelle yet. The sad thing about our gov't is that they asre waiting until MS Society tells them it's ok and we all know that MS Society is against CCSVI so thats why Im getting negative replies from politicians
