@radiospines You might be confusing it with the scene they replaced it with. It was similar and it kinda had the same locations and stuff but they changed most of the dialogue and some of the actions so you might remember a similar scene but it actually wasn't in the movie.

They didn't cut it. This scene was purely made for the trailer. They often use alt scenes in trailer to give away as little as possable
