I think it's cool.

Nonono buddy... you're not the only idiot! xD... let's make a club! xD

yes but will it blend?

@RetroPCDOS Yeah, its like multimedia speakers that claim "480watts!" on the box but that is the theoretical spike the chipset could do, with a massive power supply, measured in DIN not RMS. 'Lies, Damn Lies and Statistics' as the saying goes! :o)

true, 6 months ago i bought a corsair 600w PSU, but a miscalculation, caused overload , it died, although i wasn't worried cause i trusted corsair and i knew components were fried, and here's my PC, not a single scratch. u right, gotta be picky with power supplies, i wouldn't recommend brads like raidmax, sunbeam, diablotek, rosewill. non of those r good, and if it's a brand u've never heard don't even bother, antec coolermaster thermaltake r considerable but corsair and seasonic r the best

1st :) nice video ..
Go Google 'Capacitor Plague' and you'll see whay cheap PSUs are death boxes for PCs. They can turn from power supply to mains rectifier very quick.
Switch mode power supplies work more efficiently as they get near their limits. I've run machines on small PSUs that had big fans, no problem. What you don't want to do is run any AMD that way as they are already running at their limits and cheap PSUs vary, only by maybe a 10th of a volt, but thats enough to knock your CPU over and crash the system.

On the coolermaster found Transient Filtering Stage to be flawless two Y capacitors, one X capacitor and one MOV. But capacitors less then desire, as they are only rated at 85c Ltec. Uses 7912 integrated circuit which is good and a WT7527 monitoring integrated circuit good.
The label says that the combined power for the two +12 V rails is 312 W and that combined power for the main positive outputs (+3.3 V, +5 V and +12 V) is 401.5 W, it's not 460w, design is 370w. OK PSU at best.

Going with the Corsair due to better overall design, you just don't know intill you open them or have a data sheet. Unfortunately use crap capacitors. OCP circuit configured with a value that is so high that it probably will never enter in action, so the power supply isn’t really protected, main reason it's going back.
