I'm a light tri-racial mix who is non-white until ostentatiously black women see me with a decent looking brother next to me-then I automatically become that white b****. I loved this film. It's so true! There is a real double standard-sisters can say whatever horrible things they want about black men and other and are applauded, but it anyone says anything back, especially black men, they are the most horrible people on earth. Sometimes we need to face pain to get gain.

So many of us have symptoms of Post Traumatic SLAVE Syndrome

I THINK BLACK MEN AND WOMAN STRUGGLE WITH POWER IN THERE RELATIONSHIP, JOB, ETC THIS FILM JUST OPEN UP MEN AND WOMAN EYES ABOUT THE TRUTH AND SOME PEOPLE CANT HANDLE WHAT REALITY HAS TO OFFER RATHER ITS GOOD OR BAD BUT THE TRUTH IS ITS CALLED LIFE .

This should be a wake up call to all women of color. I have several black men as friends and they do not want to date black women because of their attitudes. I didn't understand it until I watched this movie with my black man and he helped to break it down to me.

@Superseadragon ...He was tired, he more than likely had no problem paying what he is paying to get rid of her ass. A man will pay to get some peace. You women of color need to take notes.
Wow! Truth hurts.
I'd bet the majority of complainers have no problem (but of course will say they do) with man-bashing films. Folks like Tyler Perry and Terry McMillan have made HUNDREDS of MILLIONS producing films doing the EXACT same thing, but from the female view.
Not a peep is said.
Funny how most of these folks support the plethora of Waiting to Exhale type films with their money, yet have issue with ONE film from men's view.
An obvious bias. They can dish it out but can't take it.

I saw the film. It may have been a little over the top in portraying the angry black woman behavior but overall it was on point, and many of the reasons they outlined were true. BW are just mad and in denial about their faults. A lot of BW act like this and think men are just supposed to take it. I don't blame them for not going for it. We need to own up to our part in our issues. It's not all men's fault.
