According to This Trailer, Rayman Legends Has a Demo Out Right Now

Was that...was that a "Black Betty" riff at the end there? If so, I officially love this game even harder.

As someone who thought Origins was just alright, the demo was insanely good. The platforming physics have been tightened up considerably. It's less floaty, characters stick their landings much better, they slide around less. The art style is insane, perfect, the music is great, everything is amazing. Nintendo is going to have to rethink the future of Mario after Rayman Legends.

a large part of the game is the touch screen stuff. Thats why its exclusive.

I listed why it was a bad idea, and nothing in my statement is fanboyish. You telling me to buy a WiiU makes you sound like a fan boy though. It should be on all consoles as it's prequel was, and it being in an exclusive to one console will lose sales. Especially since the console is the follow up to one of their lowest selling demographics for the previous title.

I really hope this is a timed exclusive and it ends up coming out on PS3/Vita cross-controller. It's pretty much the only game I'm looking forward on the Wii U. Looks fantastic.

Nintendo payed the money for exclusive rights. They are trying to sell a new system here, and this is like nothing new. It used to happen all the time in the past. Look how long Street Fighter 2 lasted on the SNES before making it's way onto the Megadrive for example, and that game was insanely popular at the time. Why do you people not understand this? and no, Rayman Origins sold poorly all round on every system actually.

Ubisoft better be on the ball with making a version for other consoles. Worst idea ever to make this a WiiU exclusive as the game sold phenomenally on all consoles. Origins had better sales on every console besides the Wii and 3DS even combined. It's essentially murder to this title to leave it as exclusive. No hate to Nintendo, but this game should not be an exclusive.

The demo is superb. Those music levels are genius as well. Definitely a day one buy for me.
