Do you get alot of pin jams? We have those on our lanes and the distributors seem to be horrible, always dropping pins in the wrong bins

i'm only there on saturdays, and we usually have something go wrong on atleast 1 lane, theres 28 at that alley. I've seen pins fall out of the machine, missing ones, stuck ones, its quite funny sometimes.

Hey, is that the 90XLi pinsetter? Looks like you have the newer bins up top. I work at a center with 12 lanes. We run the 90XLi and the older black one-piece bins.

i wouldn't know, i dont know about the back end of the machines, i just know how to work the front end.

To answer some questions, it's an AMF 82-90xl, not a converted 70, installed new in 96. That is the old style bin assembly, same one that would have been on a 70. The 90xli has what's called a "Durabin" stock from the factory and are MUCH newer than the design you see here. The one piece bin assembly is only as old as the 90xli machine, 5 or so years give or take. THe 90xl IS MMUUCHH younger than the 82-30, but this center prior to having these installed was running AMF 4400, almost an 82-30.

can brunswick call there gsx a pinsopper or a rollback in time it has to look for pins twice wow . i buy any amf 8270 or 8290xl before id touck a brunswick a or a2 or gsx what junk

What pinsetters are this ? are they 82-70 or 82-90 or something different? It doesn't look like a 82-30.

When it is an AMF machine or now a QubicaAMF machine it is a pinspotter not pinsetter that is for the Brunswick machines....

looks more like a 90xl. the xli's have a beacon tower to show machine state, also it has a black plastic pinwheel guard. if it was a 70's upgrade they'd still have the red rolled steel pinwheel.
