A look at some of the views of Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and President Barack Obama in 2007- 2008, and how they've changed in 2011. Back in 2008 then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) knew where she wanted to place the blame for high gas prices. "The price of oil is at the doorstep -- 4 dollars plus per gallon for oil, is attributed to two oil men in the White House," Pelosi said in a CNN interview on July 17 2008.

From what resources does this video pull its data? The records kept on GasBuddy.com on gas trends directly contradict most of this. Gas prices are rarely affected by who's in office. Concern about a tropical storm hitting can make a full 50 cents difference.
