@picklescanflytho - i completely agree. disliking a band you used to love simply because of commercial success isn't just hipster douchebaggery, it's tantamount to a total identity crisis. thankfully, i am not among the hipster douchebags and i hate death cab now because they simply suck tremendous amounts of ass now. what's shameful about this is they used to be absolutely brilliant. what baffles me is people seeing comparisons between now and their music from before. they can't be compared

@ToriiHunterFan Feel free to disagree, as I'm sure you'd feel obligated to.I feel their music may have developed some, but the vibe is the same.The lyrics still prompt thought, the music is still perfect for any mood. I just feel so strongly about this band.I hope you haven't let any small amount of commercial success change your view of the band, if you don't like their music, then ah well. But to dislike a band because they've grown? There's that hipster douchebaggery. Don't know why I bother.

I grew up with Death Cab. From every misfortune, heartache, bad day, and sorrows to every great day, love, fortune, and smile they have been there. I can not say I dislike one of their songs. I love you guys so much. Thanks for being here for me.
