Students from colleges and universities in georgia outraged over changes to the HOPE scholarship staged a vigil and funeral protest on the steps of the georgia state capitol. The new law tha governor Nathan Deal signed into law will slash scholarships up to 90 percent for all students and in order to be eligible they must earn a 3.7 GPA and a 1200 on the SAT to get HOPE scholarship money.
