From the 1999 New Orleans premiere production of the Tommy Tune musical based on the novel by Vicki Baum. Music by Wright & Forrest, with additional music by Maury Yeston. The production opened at Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre, directed by Sonny Borey, musical direction by Derek Franklin, sets by Bill Walker, costumes by Debby Simeon, sound design by Cliff Stromayer, and Maestro Jay Haydel leading the orchestra.

In this scene, The Baron (Vatican Lokey) has been mortally wounded and hallucinates meeting his love at the station where they will escape to their new life. The dancers representing love and death (Ron Marchal and L. Suzanne Burke) continue their macabre waltz as the Baron dies.
