Oh, that's the sound from my ceiling fan , not the projector. :D Actually, the sound is not that loud; somehow my digicam mic recorded the surrounding sounds more that it supposed to. LoL.

You have to buy a "digital audio to analog audio converter" then you can connect the rca cable to you stereo.

Put the speakers into where you play your media from, your xbox 360,ps3 dvd player ....

I've got the optoma hd65 too but I don't any have sound when I put my wii on the optoma. How can I get sound :(

yer i agree it has its noisy moments but still not as loud as a 360, and to be honest you dont even notice the noise of the projector,,, but ya do notice the heat!!! ya can cook a allday breakfast with one of these... trust me ive done it....

although my parents complained of a unusual high electricity bill... and ive only used it for about 100 hours ... weather its to do with the projector im not sure,,, but if it is,, it uses ALOT of electricity

Well the 360 is noisy as hell, do you mean the first generation Xbox 360 or the elite one?

i bought a optma projector and it sucked paid 900 for top of line and had nothing but probs looked grany as hell if you want a good one get the EPSON x30

the only thing im going to connect to my projector is my ps3.. for the movies, i might play games on my lcd..

Well my room is quite big, so i dont notice the heat from it. For the sound, It's about 28 dB and IMO it doesn't sound more than a 360. And the quality is great. It's really good for gaming and watching films. I'we had it for about 2 mounths and so far it's running smoothly.
