Thank you for this video. I have to say, as a Christian woman, I am contemplating wearing a headscarf because it shows a devotion to G_d and takes away the element of vanity by declaring that you don't care what others think of you only what G_d does.

@tallcoolone1 The french are right? Sarzoky is a pervert and sleeps with 18 year old models and cheats on his wife. No wonder he is ''right''. Wake up and grow some balls to admit it.

Even though you made this comment a year ago, I wish to tell you that I am a Christian who wears hijab. I am going into the Eastern Orthodox Church. The hijab has brought back my feminine self. For me, it truly is liberating, because I don't have to prove myself to the rest of the world by the way I look. Can't wait to start wearing Abaya! :D

although the sisters have done a good talk as well but still much much better then many other documentaries
I think what many who are against the use of Hijab do not realize is that many religions have had head coverings for women. Catholic nuns still cover their hair, and it is not long ago that it was uncommon for women to go outside without a hat. In Viking society married women wore a headscarf, and this is remembered to day with many of Norway's national dresses having a hat accessory for married women. Many cultures have covered their hair, what is the big deal?

@Venefica82 Absolutely spot on.
I mean, even in Italy to go into some churches or to go into the Vatican there are dress codes that imply modesty - head covering is just one aspect. I still don't get what all the fuss is about.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
it is "ignorant" to think that the hijab is anything but a medieval and oppressive restriction of women's rights. The French are right. These women are idiots.

@tallcoolone1 "ignorance" is when people do not have the openness to accept that people are all different and it is not a position of tolerance but acceptance that enables real humanity to grow. So much for plurality in a secular democracy.
