we were the first to play it on the field (right after Robert W. Smith wrote it for the air force band). You could say the Magic '96 corps was the anvil that the piece was pounded on to create the marching version (you're welcome). Not only did he Get 10 teenagers to play the 7/8 section on the contra bass bugle (tuba), one night he sang the entire piece...every part...it was sick!
