@VJTOMYAZ but saying that, the hat that nina was wearing around 2:50 madonna wore on the cover of the Justify My Love single from 1990.... the thing about the ray of light/frozen era and when she went all new age was inspired my Madonna's discovery of Kaballah in 1996 - which was not a 'phase' as 15 years later she still follows the same religion, i see the similarities in the look, but i dont think it was a "oh look what nina hagen is wearing, i'll wear the same thing 5 years later....."

I only recently came across watching Nina's performances, and her style is amazing.
The words in this song are great.... "not say one thing and do the other..."
that deep bluesy voice reaches right in and grabs me.
combined with the fun entertainment really makes it all work.
some people like her make performing and entertaining look so natural.
