The CR-V has played the role of the Fifth Gear mule for five months now. Having covered over 15,000 miles so far, we now know its capabilities and quirks and thought we'd share our opinions in this video report.

  • 440 quid for its first service? What a rip off!

  • For a car show, the fact that you didn't think of the tires is a bit odd ;)

  • @srspower well thats including one wheel, and as every1 know they are shit expensive these days

  • Wait, the English get projectors and manual....wtf?!?!?!

  • Dependable. Reliable.

  • I seriously recommend the Peugeot 3008 crossover 1.6THP 156 sport as your next crew car. It would suit your needs perfectly and its a class leader!

  • @bloximonkey A combination of the components wearing relative each other to run smoother and the computer learning your driving habits to be more efficient.

  • @DaBomb31290 They are if you don't get ripped off at the dealer.

  • @srspower Well, tires aren't cheap...

  • Y U NO 720p ?!

  • @bloximonkey AFAIK the ECU adapts a bit to your driving style. So it should give you a little bit more poke at the RPMs where you usually need it, which in turn will make you press the pedal a bit softer which ends up in better economy. Also, the friction in the engine probably got a bit less (but not to the point where you would call the engine "old").

  • Why would the average mpg go up instead of down after 10k miles?
