@KeKeKumba i am thinking of the costco deal, Canon XS, 18-55 IS, and 55-250IS, or the T1i, 18-55, 75-300, clean kit, bag and i would sell the 75-300, get that 70-200F4L maybe.

@777janek A 70-200 should be enough for pretty much anywhere along 07/25 (although smaller jets, little Bearskin planes and what not require a bit of cropping afterwards). I'd actually recommend a 55-250, which is pretty much perfect (and a lot less money, but of similar image quality).
I'll send a friend request on Flickr.

@KeKeKumba i can't find you on flickr, i'm cyyzfreak . 699 @ future shop for the 70-200 non IS. i went now, got the first air 762 taxi past me and the other 732 with the northern lights tail, saw a ACA 763 land and depart, all landings and takeoffs on 07, but some taxied past me when they went off 25. what range do you need at the spot by the taxiway sign? for Dash 8, do you need to use a full 200mm or less? Thanks

@777janek I'm using the f/4 IS at the moment. You can't go wrong with any of the 70-200's, especially the f/4 non-IS considering the price. Just happy we can get as close as we can at YOW and not need anything longer most of the time.

@KeKeKumba sick man, you got the F4L non IS? I am gettin g the xs or XSI soon with the F4L non IS. cant wait! i might go spotting today now.

@777janek I head over there about once a month I'd say. I use a Canon Rebel XS and 70-200. Most everything is uploaded to my flickr. Search 'kekekumba' and it should be there.

@KeKeKumba that's what happens with the FRA 763 departure, always goes to 32, when im at 25. i only saw it like 2 from my house. you a regular spotter too? you got some DSLR and lenses?
-
I missed it every time, too. Usually always landed on 32 while I was over at 25. Did pull up at the gate next to it a few weeks back, though.
I wish AC used the A330 all year round on the YOW-LHR route!!!
