Andrew Lamont, a successful American divorce attorney, travels to Paris, where he's introduced to Daria Larina, a beautiful and enigmatic Russian girl. Head over heels from virtually the minute he sees her, Andrew pursues Daria with intensity. Charming and a bit relentless in his pursuit of Daria, he succeeds in winning her heart, but a greater challenge awaits him when he accompanies Daria to her father's wedding in Moscow. Daria's father, Raf Larin, a rich Russian oligarch, is being pressured by associates of his former comrade in arms, Oleg Razhin, a criminal mastermind who has spent the last 7 years in prison.

  • another film about RUSSIAn mafia :P

  • saw it in Texas Sun in an empty theatre. May have better luck on DVD.

  • oh was that faye dunaway? i thought that was the cat lady at first.

  • nice to see Musetta Vander and Rade Serbedzija in the same movie...two of my favourite actors...

  • Old stars dont fay away, especially icons like Faye Dunaway, who recently locked horns with Stepford Kid Hilary Duff of Disney fame, who is reprising Dunaways Academy Award nominated role of Bonnie Parker in the remake of Bonnie and Clyde. On May 4, 2009, Faye will have her rebuttal against Duff on the big screen when she stars as Jacqueline de Rossy, the elegant matchmaker in Say it in Russian, an award winning romantic thriller that debuts in theaters.

  • Cool. I thought since it was made several yrs ago(05 or 06?) it was going to DVD.

  • The details will be released soon, but yes in the US and not really that limited

  • Dalton Pictures have the domestic; foreign sales company has not been hired yet, but two are vying for them

  • Which company have the distribution rights?

  • very limited release I assume in the U.S?
