  • lmao @ you for thinking big brown has regressed. based on what? his beyer speed was 108 for this race WHILE turning wide and drifting to the middle of the track. his beyer for the kentucky derby was 109. his florida derby was 106. so apparently he hasnt regressed. just admit coal play ran a strong 2nd place.

  • BIG BROWN IS BACK!!

  • Well that comment makes no sense because they both havent raced for 2 years

  • I hope Curlin knows what Big Browns butt looks like becuz that's all he's going to be seeing if they ever race together!!!!!!!!!!

  • Watching this race only makes me wonder what if Kent had gotten into Big Browns ass in the Belmont?? He looked beaten here and he didnt ease him...ugh!

  • This was not a bad come back win at all. BB hadn't had anything closely resembling a challenge since the Derby. He coasted to his Preakness win, and was pulled up after running a mile at the Belmont. In this race, he came from off the pace and was running hard at the end. You hate to call a million dollar race a tightener, but that's what it was. His next race at Monmouth will be too, (though it wont help if no one makes him run). Anyway, his connections are pointing to the BC, Curlin or not.

  • and most horses do take steriods so they can get stronger faster. when horses train and their muscles tear, steriods heals them faster. steriods just speed up a horses training. you are an absolutely MORON if you think steriods make horses faster or better on race day. please shut the hell up.

  • Curlin ran clean in all his dubai races and didnt go back on them at all as a 3 year old. It has every impact on raceday as horses that get the roids will always beat those that dont. Hence why they are being banned. Your the moron who doesnt think performance enhancing drugs enhance performance. There is a reason why the drugs in racing isnt allowed in human competition. Because they give an edge.

  • what horse hasnt taken steriods? curlin took steriods as a 3 year old also. they all do. steriods are for faster recovery time and it stimulates hunger so horses eat more. it has no impact on a horse on race day and has no impact on his speed and endurance on race day. you are a moron.

  • Oh and chris, I agree, if the EVER meet I really will have a hard time thinking big brown can beat him. Curlin has run VERY well and also run clean. Big brown has only just come off the roids and this is the result. It is a slight regresssion but thats how a horserace is won.
