can you give me directions on how to do backgrounds after you color your drawing as your lineart like how you do it on here?

I done the colours and the linearts on two layers. The lineart-layer is above the one which I used to colour. Then I made a new layer and put it under all just above the white background layer. And there I made the actually background on it. You can use more than one layer for drawing a background, it's more simple. Was it that you wanted to know? x33
