Guys, lets put this in perspective:

As of 2008, only 8% of Russia's budget is placed into military spending.

The United States' is 48%.

FUCKING 48!

Now if you compare the russian army and the american army, you could easily come to the conclusion that USA's army is much better equiped and much larger in size.

But considering with what Russia had to work with i dont think its so bad.

I think in short terms 3-7 years Russia won't be challenge America's dominance but in longer terms it definitely can. It has everything she needs for it. You got to start somewhere and today is that start. If Russia's growing influence wouldn't be significant nobody would talk about it. Comdom Rice has double face. Here she claims US is not worried at all while in some other interview she was stating USA is very worried about Russia military spending increases. How to understand her?
