@thesuperfe KJV is not the only translation available, and before you say the KJV is inerrant, there are many areas of the KJV that have proven errors. It doesn't mean it is not a good translation and it was actually the first translation I studied from. Keep in mind that KJV is a TRANSLATION of the Scriptures based on the perspective of the translators. Hebrew is the original language of the Scriptures and this should not be ignored or disregarded.

"the Spirit" refers to the Holy Spirit/Angel of the Lord. "your spirit" does not. Just as 1:16 "through him" is not the same as "by him" (KJV). It creates different connotations and distinctly different meanings. Also, John 1:10 "made by him" (KJV) not the same as "through him".
