13 ago i bought a CD called Best Classical Music Ever!! lost it and have not bn able find the Pachelbel Canon D version on it ever since.. I'm pretty much sure this Canon version is THE ONE on the CD.. and yes.. it's my favourite version!! The Best Version i think ..

"the ultimate best version", not even close. There's no better version than hearing Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps playing this live.

Why are you all getting so irate about what poeple are using this piece for???
I agree it's not a version it is a perfomance whenever played this well, but give people every chance to hear it in what ever form and situation......at a wedding it would be beautiful.....but yeah a long isle would be required for the full perfomance.
Surely no MUSICIAN would ever bore of playing this...!
