♥ DEDICATION ♥

This one I made for my mother, since her birthday is just around the corner, and she has expressed, on numerous occasions, the appropriate nature of this song and how applicable it is to our situation.

This is my first Non-Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts related video, which is a shocker in and of itself, but what was even more shocking to me was the versatility of Eternal Sonata's footage. I only had three clips to work with: the japanese opening, the ancient E3 trailer, and one game review someone posted online (thankfully in high definition, this proves that there is a God and He does love me. Sometimes.)

I have never played Eternal Sonata.

But I plan to.

So please, I beg of you, do not leave spoilers in the comments or mention how such and such a scene would have been more fitting. I did not have access to it and I also did not know it existed. (But this shall all change the moment I find it used for the PS3. Perhaps an early Christmas present for my mother. Situational irony, for the win!)

(And by early Christmas present, I mean: oops-I-played-it-already-but-that's-okay-it-was-used, of course.)

I'll just re-wrap it or something. I dunno. XD

I /do/ know the general premise of the video game, and that Polka is suffering from an illness of some sort (this was revealed in the trailer I downloaded, thus, not a spoiler) and, obviously, that was enough for me.

Two days, oddly enough. They just increased my Ritalin, so that may have had something to do with it, lolz!

No, I do not harbor any secret longing to throw myself off a cliff, however symbolic that piece may have been. It just fit with the ::clipping of the wings:: lyric, thus, the inclusion.

This, of course, was my mother's first question after providing a sufficient, 'aww, you shouldn't have!'

This is, like, the third time I've made you cry in under twenty four hours! - berates self -

I'll make a HAPPY video with some nonsensical J-POP theme, and it'll have lots of flashy effects and random Japanese related humor!

And I won't even know what the song is saying! It will be magnificent!

(And knowing my luck, I'll probably pick the one J-POP song out there that deals with ... some unsavory topic. Like killing puppies. Or something.)
