MJ is very reluctant to leave his cage. Since I don't want him to become "cage-bound," I take him out and let him explore, sometimes. This is a video of one of his explorations. He attacks the video camera & later finds Mom cleaning the bathroom. [Don't worry, Mom wasn't using any chemical cleaners. She was just washing the items on the counter with soap and water.]

  • Whats The range Of Price?

  • I'm not really sure. My grandma bought MJ in 1998 - from a pet store - and I don't really remember. I think it was close to $1000. His cage was either $550 or $600. Hope this helps.

  • I love it when he comes up to the camera. He's a cutie; good idea to let him out to explore.

  • you wouldnt say that if you realized that clipping them means he can go outside.

Its a good trade since otherwise we couldnt bring ours to the park to play. we throw him up inthe air so he gets height and can work his musckes...trust me, I think hed rather go out than be house bound. I am sure hed love to fly too but hes happy and loved and get the sun in his face and the attention of kids.

clipped wings mean more freedom as a pet than some would expect,

  • try a fish net to get him out that's works for me.

  • Mine, is so sad , he just doesn't want to get out of the cage, i still open the cage everyday and he still in there

  • oh im glad hes out of the cage

  • Their potty trained. I bet you've never had a potty trained parrot before huh.

  • so beautiful. I saw a tv program and the lady's parrot slept in her bed with her. Just snuggled right up. I don't think most people realize just how intelligent, social, and affectionate they truly are.

  • Nice looking parrot your MJ, i love to see parrots have freedom, mine live almost free, he dont like to be locked in cage.

  • He sure dose love tha camera right. =) not
