@Lenny042 Bands and chains offer varying resistance in relation to the distance traveled to help the athlete/lifter work though sticking points to have consistent power/strength throughout the range.
Adding more weight just keeps them at their sticking point and can actually be counterproductive and detrimental to training because strength cannot be gained or increased by simply adding more weight when the athlete/lifter has not developed enough to work through said higher weights.
hm, what resistance do this purple bands cause? Why don't you just put more weights on the bar?
