@Schmunken1 But Keith is dead and Ringo is still alive, so who's the SMARTER person?
-
@Schmunken1 i agree
-
Keith Moon is much better than Ringo Starr... my opinion!!

I think having dual drums and a keyboard both adds and detracts from the song, because we're so used to hearing a much harder sound from the guitars and John's base, but at the same time, it gives it a more friendly quality having the keyboard in the background.

Yes he says boris the cuma (my spelling may be off) but it's japanese for spider.

Just to clarify, this is from a performance by Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band. John Entwhistle is the special guest bassist and lead singer. The two drummers are Ringo and his son Zak. Yes, that is Billy Preston (one of several people referred to as the 5th Beatle). Randy Bachman of Bachman-Turner Overdrive. Zak, by the way, was a dsiciple of both Ringo and Keith Moon.

Anyone know what John said the first time he said "Boris the ?" Is it Japanese or something?
-
O ya it's ringo!!!

I like the double drummers. The only other time I've seen double drummers was when KISS did MTV Unplugged and Peter Criss joined Eric Singer for the last two songs with Ace Frehley and Bruce Kulick. The only other live version of this song that I like better was back in the '70s. I think it was the Ox's best song.
